Code of conduct

The standards we hold ourselves to

Saifen Drugs distributes medicines. Everything in this code follows from that one fact: the products we move end up in patients, and the trust of a health authority, a doctor or a partner is lost exactly once.

Last reviewed: August 2026

Compliance with law and regulation

The group operates under the pharmaceutical regulations of every territory in which it holds a registration — Hong Kong, Vietnam, Myanmar, the Philippines, Portugal and India. Where standards differ between territories, the stricter standard applies.

  • Every product is registered with the competent health authority before it is marketed.
  • Storage, transport and cold-chain requirements are met without exception.
  • No employee may offer or accept an improper payment or advantage of any kind, anywhere, for any reason.

Product integrity

The group sources only from audited, certified manufacturers, and its registrations describe the product exactly as manufactured. Falsified or substandard medicine is not a commercial risk — it is a harm to patients, and the group treats it as such.

  • Batch traceability is maintained from the manufacturer to the point of sale.
  • Suspected quality defects are reported to the manufacturer and the authority without delay.
  • Recalls are executed immediately and completely when required.

Honest promotion

Sales and marketing teams promote products on their approved indications and evidence, and on nothing else. Claims a health authority has not approved do not leave anyone’s mouth or laptop under the group’s name.

Fair dealing with partners

Manufacturers trust the group with their products and their brands. That trust is repaid with accurate market information, disciplined ordering, punctual payment and confidentiality — the same terms the group expects in return.

People

The group’s seven values — customer service, innovation, honesty, performance, intelligence, teamwork and leadership — apply to how colleagues treat each other, not only to how the business is run. Discrimination and harassment have no place in any of the group’s offices.

Raising a concern

Anyone — employee, partner or member of the public — who believes this code has been breached can write to the group at amohan@saifendrugs.com. Concerns are investigated, and raising one in good faith never carries a penalty.
